The HVAC answering service that knows a no-heat emergency from a routine tune-up.
Every call is answered in seconds. Routine appointments land in Google Calendar at launch. Eligible Team and Pro customers can apply for our invite-only Jobber beta, which creates or matches the customer, writes the request/job and appointment, and attaches the call summary. After-hours emergencies are routed to your on-call person with the address, equipment, urgency, and callback number already captured.

BUILT FOR THE ONE-TRUCK AND THREE-TRUCK OWNER
“The calls come in whether I want them to or not.” — one-truck HVAC owner, r/HVAC(65↑ 85💬)
Most of our customers run one to three trucks on word-of-mouth work — “$400k my first year, single truck,” “more work than we can handle 11 months of the year.” When you are the owner, the dispatcher, and the tech on the ladder, the phone is the business. You don’t need a call center. You need the call handled.
THE CALLS YOU CANNOT PICK UP ARE THE CALLS THAT BUY THE JOB
You are in an attic. Your customer is not waiting.
One small-business thread described a field tech reaching only 30% of calls because he was “knee deep in a problem”; the HVAC owner asking for help drew 84 comments. Source
Heat waves do not keep office hours.
After-hours calls are normal in HVAC, not an edge case. An r/HVAC thread about an after-hours call-out drew 262 upvotes and 49 comments. Source
A booked slot is not a good booking if the owner never approved it.
A dispatch thread about renter bookings drew 40 upvotes and 27 comments; the fix is confirmation and escalation, not more calls on the calendar. Source
BUILT FOR HVAC QUALITY, NOT JUST CALL PICKUP
1. A bill you can audit
Every call log shows whether it counted and why. Spam, silent calls, and calls under 15 seconds are excluded. Change your expected calls and duration in the public calculator before you choose a plan.
2. Emergency routing with a human endpoint
No-heat, no-AC, gas-smell, and water-leak scenarios follow a safety-first intake. The AI does not diagnose equipment. It captures the facts, gives life-safety instructions where required, and warm-transfers the caller to your on-call person. If nobody answers, it texts the full context and starts your callback SLA.
3. Calendar at launch. Jobber direct-write in invite-only beta.
Every plan can create confirmed appointments in Google Calendar. Eligible Team and Pro customers can apply for the Jobber beta: it creates or matches the customer, creates the request/job and appointment, attaches the call summary, and uses the call ID plus a pre-write lookup to prevent duplicates. Access is limited while the app is under Jobber review. Reschedules, cancellations, two-way sync, and dispatch rules are not beta features.
AI booking agents already answer HVAC phones — and owners’ complaints are exactly what you’d expect: the scripted upsell (“has to give at least 3 ‘options’ on every call”) and the silent misdispatch (“didn’t realize that call was scheduled for 1 [and] dispatched myself at 8am”). That’s why ours captures the facts, books what you approve, and never fakes a diagnosis.
HOW IT WORKS
- Forward your existing number.Use us after hours, for overflow, or 24/7. Keep the number your customers already know.
- We answer with your HVAC rules. The caller gives address, equipment type, symptoms, availability, and urgency. We capture; we do not pretend to diagnose a compressor.
- Routine call? Book it. Emergency? Escalate it.Routine appointments go to Google Calendar by default. If your Team or Pro account is admitted to the Jobber beta, the same confirmed booking is written one way to the customer, request/job, appointment, and note records without duplicate writes. Urgent calls go to your on-call person with a warm handoff.
- Review every decision.Recording, transcript, billable status, routing result, and FSM write are visible in one timeline.
HEAR THE DIFFERENCE
Real users complain that generic AI receptionists interrupt slow speakers and turn email spelling into a three-minute ordeal. Source: real user test, not an HVAC-owner claim
Our demo must prove three things before asking for payment: it waits through pauses, confirms details by SMS instead of spelling loops, and reaches a person when confidence is low. Play the unedited demo →

HOW TO COMPARE HVAC ANSWERING SERVICES
Third-party “best service” guides and Reddit threads increasingly shape both buyer research and AI answers. We will submit the same verifiable facts—price, excluded calls, emergency route, FSM write, and an unedited demo—to independent guides tracked in ⑧. We do not sell “AI visibility,” pay for a guaranteed ranking, or claim that a listing proves quality. Use this checklist anywhere:
Can I audit the bill? What happens after hours? Does the job enter my FSM correctly?
PROOF FROM THE PEOPLE DOING THE WORK
- A one-truck r/HVAC discussion: first-year revenue around $400k, more work than capacity for much of the year, and calls that keep arriving. 65↑/85💬
- HVAC technicians rejected AI pretending to diagnose from a booking call; the acceptable boundary was capture, confirmation, availability, and urgency. 38↑/29💬
- A real inbound-AI user documented robotic cadence, interruptions, and long spelling loops. 10↑/21💬 (real user test; not labeled as an HVAC owner)
Publication gate: re-check every linked thread for organic behavior on launch day; the 84-comment small-business thread is comments-only evidence because vendor seeding was detected in the thread.
FAQ
Will it sound robotic?
Hear the unedited demo first. We tune pause handling and interruption sensitivity for real service calls, and use SMS confirmation instead of making callers spell long details aloud.
What are the trial limits and refund terms?
The 14-day trial includes up to 500 minutes of live call handling — shown before you sign up. If you reach the trial cap, calls keep coming: we text you and transfer them to your phone, the same “text + transfer” behavior as a paid plan. Nothing is billed during the trial, and there’s one trial per business and phone number. Annual plans are refundable in full within 30 days of purchase (non-refundable after day 30). Monthly plans cancel anytime; the current paid period is non-refundable. Refunds always go back to your original payment method. Full terms: Terms →
Does it diagnose HVAC problems?
No. It captures symptoms, address, equipment, authority to book, availability, and urgency. Diagnosis stays with your technician.
What if the AI is unsure?
It warm-transfers to your on-call person with context. If the transfer is unanswered, it sends the transcript and callback details immediately.
Can I use it after hours only?
Yes. Start with nights, weekends, holidays, or overflow; daytime calls can keep ringing your office exactly as they do now.
Do spam or hang-ups use my minutes?
No. Spam, robocalls, silent calls, and calls ending within 15 seconds do not count. Every exclusion is visible in the call log.
Are there hidden overage fees?
No. At the cap, the default is a text alert and transfer to your phone. $0.25/min overage requires explicit opt-in; it never turns on silently.
Which field-service system do you support?
Google Calendar booking is available at launch. Team and Pro customers can apply for our invite-only Jobber one-way direct-write beta. For admitted accounts, it creates or matches the customer, creates the request/job and appointment, attaches the call summary, and prevents duplicate writes. Beta access is limited while the app is under Jobber review. Reschedule and cancellation sync, two-way sync, and dispatch rules are planned after launch and are not included today. ServiceTitan and Housecall Pro remain roadmap/custom pilots until partner access is confirmed.
Can I keep my number?
Yes. Forward calls from your existing number; porting is optional.
Spanish calls?
English and Spanish are included. The same routing and booking rules apply.
Contract and refunds?
Annual plans include a 14-day trial. You can request a full refund within 30 days of purchase; annual payments are non-refundable after day 30. Monthly plans can be canceled anytime, and paid monthly periods are non-refundable.
Let the next after-hours call prove it.
Run your own HVAC script for 14 days. Listen to the calls, inspect the bill, and verify the Jobber record before you commit.
